WHY JESSICA SANCHEZ was Saved on American Idol 11?

Jessica Sanchez,  a  top contender to win the title of American Idol Season 11 was almost eliminated based on the results and dramatically saved on Thursday by the show's judges as she performed a last chance song to prove she was worthy of continuing her journey to be the next Idol winner.

It was indeed a crazy and unexpected night - nobody in the entire world expected this would happen but it did. What the Heck People??? My friends from Texas, Ohio, New York, New Jersey and just all over have been sending me this shocking reactions which is of course I cannot mention here - Parental guidance :)

After this, the stakes are definitely at the highest level! This season, "Idol" judges were only allotted with one "Save" to override audience votes and keep a promising contestant on the show. All of them must agree, and if their "Saving Power" had not been used by next week's performance, it would have expired.

While Jessica Sanchez was singing for her life, The AI Judges spearheaded by Jennifer Lopez, followed by fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler rushed to storm the stage and announced they were using their only "save" to keep Sanchez on the show.

Jennifer Lopez exclaimed. "This is crazy!" and boy she was indeed right.

Moving on, why Jessica Sanchez was almost eliminated and then saved on this highest rated TV show?

The valid reason is that she received the lowest fan votes this week. Again, what the heck? As always, her consistency and power-house performances ironically is not enough for America. It's almost the same scenario just like Jennifer Hudson years ago which catapulted her to true stardom.What Jessica needs right now is to LEVEL UP her performances, to put MORE heart and emotions with her songs on the coming weeks. She needs to exquisitely combine her emotions and vocal power and sing a widely familiar heartfelt song every time she is on stage.  To add to that, If she can creatively finds her way to really make America feel that she deserves to win this competition. Then SHE IS IT!


She was saved because the AI judges believe that there is a slight chance for her to win this competition. A chance for her to win our hearts and makes us believe that despite her imperfections, she can fight her way thru her dream of becoming the next American Idol Winner. 

I hope people will realize that this show is about singing and that Jessica and some (very few) of the other finalists (Joshua, Elise and Hollie) definitely have what it takes to be the next American Idol Superstar.

This young girl deserves to be in this show and that she needs to be given a chance to prove to all of us that she can capture our hearts with that big voice! Let's all give her a chance...:)
